Movie Duel

I am feeling creative. I'm also feeling like watching horror movies. I want to combine the two like chocolate and nougat, so I'm gonna watch horror movies and then do blogs comparing the two (or three). I'm sure this has been done before and maybe funnier and better, but not by me. Don't expect total brilliance or deep insight. I having some fun here. Maybe you won't get my battles. Maybe you will disagree with my opinions. Um, I kinda don't care that much. I run this show, beezotches. This is all about me and what I dig, but you can try to tell me why you might think I'm wrong. I won't believe you, but you can try.

For my first project, I am going with some good ole monster fare: American Werewolf in London starring that Dr. Pepper guy vs. The Howling featuring the awesome that is Dee Wallace (Stone) and a gummy John Carradine. (I might even throw in a 3rd movie, Stephen King's Silver Bullet which includes Gary Busey saying things about Jesus he probably regrets now.) I love these movies for different reasons which I will go into in the battle blog, but I will only allow myself to chose one as the best. Not that it matters to anyone but me, but you will read it anyway because you are my faithful blog-reading friend.

You want to know what the criteria for determining the winner will be? My own arbitrary opinion, that's what. One movie may get points for a comic moments while another will be stricken down for too many jokes. A high body count does not always a good movie make, unless I say it's awesome because a lot of people die. I'll be the judge.

So, American Werewolf in London vs. The Howling (vs. Silver Bullet?)

Who will it be? Who takes it? Whose transformation scene reigns supreme?
