A New New 'Do

Oh, you are full of surprises, aren't you, my Busable EyeCandy. Yet another haircut. I must say I like it better. The first hair cut was nice, but made you're face look a wee bit puffy. This has a youthfully, slimming effect. But whatever. Still hot and making my trips to work a little brighter.

I'm getting over my second cold THIS MONTH! Why am I suddenly so infection-prone? And I'm out of Wal-quil both day and night versions. I had to use that Alka-Seltzer Cold stuff and it takes way longer to knock me out and it doesn't loosen up the goo nearly as much. But my left ear isn't all stuffed up like it was yesterday, so that much is good.

I went to Gringo's with Rebecca for the first time in forever last Friday. I didn't realized that I hadn't seen her since January. Good grief. But I have been a moody broke-ass. I think that was my first time having beer since Digital Underground. Well, unless, you count that sip of Swank's Chelata or whatever. How lame.

Anyway, those 4 beers left me feeling like crap, so once again Bean's Game Night was thwarted. I gotta say though, that I'm not all that enthused about going all the way over Nordeast to hang out until the wee hours and then either paying for a cab or catching a bus in the wee hours. I mean, she has the house, but she also is the one who lives on the other side of town and owns a car. And I just don't dig on staying in someone else's house. I just like my Comfort Zone. It's how I roll. So we'll see.

It won't happen this week either because The Hostages are playing tomorrow at the 3Rock with some other bands which I've never heard of and I will go, with Rebecca whom I hate riding the bus with. I kinda hate riding the bus with anyone else because I can't put my headphones on and I really prefer to have my headphones on when I ride the bus. I just have no interest in hearing anything any of those people have to say. I'm so mean.
